| Lucan Pitch and Putt Club acknowledge the passing of Peter Fitzgerald yesterday Thursday 4th June. Peter was a very quite and unassuming gentleman who loved the game of pitch and putt. He gave many years of his life helping out the juvenile section of our club – a job he enjoyed so much and he was so encouraging to our juveniles. Over the last number of years Peter's health prevented him from partaking in the game but that did not stop him from asking how things were progressing in the club. The members of Lucan Pitch and Putt Club would like to extend their deepest sympathy to Peter's wife Mary, his daughters Annemarie, Mary, Jennifer, his son Andrew and Peter's extended family.
