| Hi All, With the season well underway its time to look at the leader-boards for our Ace of the Club and the Player of the year in both the Gents and the Ladies. Ace of the Club Nett In the Nett Section both of our leaderboards are very close. In the Gents Dave Hayden II (-27) holds a 2 shot lead over Niall Leahy (-25). In 3rd place we have Bryan Barry (-23) who has put some very strong rounds together and could be a major player come the Grand Final. In the Ladies we have joint leaders and also joint 3rd place. In the lead currently we have Roisin Harpur and Tracey Smith both sitting on -11 after 3 events. Both ladies have made a very strong start to the season and will need to keep those low rounds coming in. In joint 3rd we have Jackie Kearney, Sandra Keogh and Catherine Leonard all -7. Ace of the Club Gross After 3 events in the Gents Gross there is only 2 shots separating the the top 3 with Gary Ryan (-21) holding a 1 shot lead from Chris Gallagher (-20). In 3rd place is Damian Creevey (-19). The scoring so far has been very good and I expect after event 4 when the cut line gets added we will see some changes in the leaderboard. In the Ladies Gross competition there is 2 ladies currently very close with only a 3 shot difference. Tracey Smith holds a 3 shot Lead over Glenda Hoey. There is a few ladies in behind who will need to add some scores to get themselves close to the 2 ladies currently leading the way. Player of the Year Both player of the Year competitions are very close with multiple people in the running for the ladies and the gents. In the Ladies we have joint leaders with Roisin Harpur and Sandra Keogh 3 points ahead of Tracey Smith. But the gap is not far for last years Player of the Year Catherine Leonard to make a surge and get herself back to the top of the leaderboard. The Gents Player of the year is also very close with last years runner up Niall Leahy now finding himself in the number 1 spot. He is 2 points ahead of last years captain Dermot Heffernan. In 3rd place is a man who has made some big improvements in his game this season Dave Perry. Then there is 2 men sitting in joint 4th Pat Byrne and Gary Ryan both needing some big results to get themselves close to the guys in ahead of them.
