| Condolences - Jimmy Buggy (R.I.P) | ||||

| The committee and members of Lucan Pitch and Putt Club wish to extend their sincere sympathies to Vincent Buggy on the death of his father Jimmy Buggy (R.I.P). Jimmy was a master of the long game as well as the short game as he played off a single figure handicap in golf. The records will show that he was Captain of Glenville Pitch and Putt Club in the 1950’s before he joined Lucan. Not many people could boast of such a long association with the game of pitch and putt in one lifetime. Unfortunately, Jimmy was unable to take an active part in our club over the last number of years due to his failing health. Our thoughts are with the family at this very sad time. May Jimmy’s gentle soul rest in peace. James Buggy Lucan, Dublin BUGGY, James – 27th November 2025 - Lucan, former member of Newlands Golf Club and Lucan Pitch and Putt club. Peacefully at Mount Pleasant Nursing Home, Kilcock surrounded by his loving family. Pre- deceased by his wife Rose, daughters Miriam and Margaret. James will be sadly missed by his son Vincent, brothers Don and Joe, sister Mary, grandchildren Ruth, Mark, Ross, Emma and Georgia, his extended family and friends. May he Rest in Peace. Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Clondalkin Village, D22 EOCO on Monday, December 1st between 5pm and 7pm. Removal to St. Patrick's Church, Esker, Lucan in time for Requiem Mass on Tuesday, December 2nd at 10am with Cremation thereafter in Newlands Cross Crematorium.
