The Captain's drive-in began on Saturday morning the 16th of March with some Irish dancing and some "cupla focal" from our Captains and President and then the competition started and continued up to Monday evening.
The gents overall winner was Frank Loakman with a great score of 99pts,with Tracey Smith retaining the trophy with a super score of 84pts.

The gents class 1 was taken by Christy Kane with a score of 90pts and the ladies class 1 was won by Mairead O'Brien with a score of 76pts.

In the ladies and gents class 2 Sandra Keogh continued her form from last season with a score of 78pts beating Evelyn O'Gorman on the back 6's and in the latter P.J.McCluskey beat Dave HaydenII on the back 6's with a score of 87pts.[Tony McDonnell was beaten by the both of the lads on the back 9's]

The class 3 in the ladies and gents saw Eileen Duffy continue her winter league form taking this section with a score of 78pts and a special congratulation to Mick Purcell on winning his first competition in a while[taking a break from committee does help your P&P form],Mick won this section with a great score of 89pts.
