| Lucan Pitch & Putt Scratch Cup Winner- J.R Crangle 139 Runner-up- Gary Healy 140 (b18) 3rd Place- Paddy Noonan 140 Final 18- Dave Hayden (48 b6) Ladies Class 1- Philo Condron 102 Ladies Class 2- Sandra Keogh 121 Inter winner- Tom McMorrow 99 Junior winner- Ted Flynn 108 27th and 28th May 18 Gross Gents Class 1- Chris Gallagher 43 Gents Class 2- Dave Lee 52 Gents Class 3- Jack Cassidy 53 Ladies Class 1-Philo Condron 50 Ladies Class 2- Eileen Loakman 60 Lucan Scratch Cup Our Scratch Cup was a huge success as we had over 115 cards. The day was perfect for pitch and putt no wind and the course in spectacular condition. Gary Healy set the early morning lead with a great score of -14 and was only matched by Paddy Noonan until late in the afternoon J.R Crangle arrived over and scored -17. In the playoff the scoring was fantastic as most players broke 50 but it would be J.R who would hold on to win. This is the 1st time in over a decade the Lucan Scratch Cup has been won by a player from outside of Lucan and we couldn't be happier to hand it over to J.R who is a gentleman of the game. A special thanks to Paul Sharkey and Instrument Technology for their continued sponsorship, League Matches Last Friday our Junior men's team was over in Glenville for their second match of this year's campaign and after a tough fought match they prevailed with the 3 points after a 5.5 to a 3.5 win. Our Inter men's team continued their good start to this year's Leagues with an 8-1-win over Longmeadow's. The Ladies Class 1 were away to CYMC on Monday and took all the spoils back to Lucan as they won 5-4 Chase the Joker The Pot is still growing for the Friday Nights Chase the Joker it will soon be over the 1000 mark and would be a nice start to the summer. Also Darts Competition and pool. Social The tickets for the annual BBQ day are now on sale for €12.50 and can be ordered from Siobhan, Sandra or any member of the house committee. This is happening on Saturday 11th June and will consist of a scramble at around 6.30pm followed by a pig on the spit. All welcome. There will also be cocktails and various games on the night! The ticket includes pitch & putt and food. This always is a great night so make sure not to miss out!
